Rebecca T. Cohanghadosh

Rebecca T. Cohanghadosh joined Hanger Steinberg Shapiro & Ash as an attorney in November of 2018. Ms. Cohanghadosh represents individuals and private entities in complex litigation matters involving fraud, multi-party wrongful death actions, catastrophic injuries, traumatic brain injuries, and real property disputes. Ms. Cohanghadosh’s emphasis is litigating traumatic brain injuries occurring in automobile vs. pedestrian, automobile vs. bicycle accidents, and premises liability incidents.

Ms. Cohanghadosh is experienced in handling all aspects of litigation from case inception, through trial, including experience in all aspects of discovery and drafting and arguing motions in anticipation of trial. Most recently, Ms. Cohanghadosh was one of the primary handling attorneys in a personal injury matter that went to trial, arising out of a T-bone car accident. Plaintiff’s alleged injuries included a major orthopedic surgery. In this contested liability trial, jury found Plaintiff 83% liable for the accident. Plaintiff’s pre-trial demand exceeded Defendant’s last offer. Additionally, Ms. Cohanghadosh was the second chair in a personal injury matter that went to trial, involving an admitted liability rear-end accident, wherein Plaintiff’s demand at Trial exceeded $500,000.00. At Trial, Plaintiff was awarded $1,000.00.

Prior to attending law school, Ms. Cohanghadosh received her B.A. degree in Political Science at the University of California, Los Angeles. Following her time at UCLA, Ms. Cohanghadosh attended law school at Pepperdine University School of Law, graduating in May of 2018.

During her spare time, Ms. Cohanghadosh enjoys spending time with her husband and dog. She enjoys working out, hiking, and eating sushi.
