Josephine N. Baurac
Josephine N. Baurac is a litigation attorney and has been a member of Hanger, Steinberg, Shapiro & Ash since 1999. She has extensive experience defending individuals and business entities in cases involving habitability issues, mold and water damage, wrongful death, catastrophic injury, premises liability, assault and battery, trade secret theft, defamation, dog bites, motor vehicle accidents, and construction defect, including in arbitration and trial. Ms. Baurac has argued successfully in front of the California Court of Appeal.
Ms. Baurac graduated summa cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles, and obtained her law degree from the University of California, Berkeley. Before joining Hanger, Steinberg, Shapiro & Ash, she worked at the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce located in Paris, France.
Ms. Baurac is a former professional ballet dancer who danced with several major national ballet companies.
