Emma Fowler
Ms. Fowler joined Hanger, Steinberg, Shapiro & Ash as an attorney in November 2022.
Ms. Fowler obtained her Juris Doctor from Pepperdine Caruso School of Law in May 2022 and holds a Certificate in Entertainment, Media, and Sports Law. During her time at Pepperdine, she worked with the Community Justice Clinic, where she assisted nonprofit organizations with legal matters concerning their corporate structure and internal organization. She also served as a Teaching Assistant for Pepperdine’s Masters in Legal Studies Litigation Workshop. Prior to joining the firm, she gained experience in criminal law, and worked as a law clerk defending complex civil matters in various practice areas, including medical malpractice and personal injury.
Prior to law school, Ms. Fowler graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a Certificate in Business and Public Policy from the McCombs School of Business. She is a classically trained pianist and still enjoys playing in her spare time.
