Ana Park vonSimun
Ana Park vonSimun joined Hanger, Steinberg, Shapiro & Ash in September 2024 as a post-bar clerk and, after passing the California Bar Examination, is now proud to serve as an associate attorney with the firm.
Ms. Park vonSimun earned her Juris Doctor from the Pepperdine Caruso School of Law in 2024, along with a Certificate in Dispute Resolution from the renowned Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution. During law school, she held a leadership position as Co-President of the National Lawyers Guild student chapter and was an active member of OUTLaw. She also gained practical experience through the Community Justice Clinic led by Dean Jeff Baker, where she assisted nonprofit organizations with regulatory compliance, contract drafting, and broader transactional needs.
Prior to joining HSSA, Ms. Park vonSimun gained litigation and alternative dispute resolution experience at Hirji & Chao, where she worked on matters involving civil rights and education law in both state and federal courts. Her work included drafting motions and other pleadings, evaluating cases for potential resolution, and assisting with strategic analysis for settlement and/or summary judgment.
Before pursuing a legal career, Ms. Park vonSimun graduated Magna Cum Laude from California Lutheran University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and minors in Art History and Philosophy.
Outside of the office, Ms. Park vonSimun enjoys attending live music events, spending time at the barn with her horse, and sharing time with friends and family.
